A battery-powered LED string light can be placed on shelves, doors, windows or decorative bowls without needing a nearby socket. However, colour and design are not the only factors to consider before buying. Unclear length specifications, missing usage information or an unsuitable battery setup can often lead to disappointment.
A long string of lights with just a few LEDs may look less densely lit than a shorter model with a smaller gap between the lights. Always check:

The runtime depends on the number of LEDs, power consumption, battery type, temperature and daily usage duration. Without specific manufacturer data, a general number of hours cannot be considered reliable. To make a better assessment, compare the stated power rating with the batteries required.
This depends on the model. The Atmosphera garland uses two AA batteries rated at 1.5 V. The Disco Ball model also requires two AA batteries, which are not included. Check the battery type and contents of the package in the product details before buying.
