A folding table can save a great deal of space in small flats, when camping, at markets or in the workshop. However, folding tables vary considerably in their construction, load capacity and intended use. An appealing product image says little about whether the table will stand securely in everyday use, can be transported comfortably or can genuinely be stored in a space-saving way once folded.
A stated load capacity only applies under the specified conditions. A table with a high load limit is not automatically suitable for uneven floors, dynamic loads or outdoor use. That is why you should also consider the base, locking mechanism and environment in which it will be used.
