A JOTOYS Miana Retro Shop Blind Box combines the thrill of a surprise collectible figure with a decorative item you can use every day. Before you buy, though, it’s worth checking exactly what you’ll receive. With blind box products, it’s not just about the design – you also need to consider size, material, series breakdown, and how random variants are handled.
With a blind box, you don’t know the exact contents until you open it. The same goes for the JOTOYS Miana Retro Shop Series: the packaging contains a random variant. If you’re after a specific design, don’t automatically assume it will be in a single order.
The stated configuration includes nine variants: eight regular figures and one so-called chaser variant. A chaser figure is usually a special version within the series, but its delivery is not guaranteed.
Pictures of blind box series frequently display several figures at once. That doesn’t necessarily mean all the variants shown are included in the delivery. According to the product details, this item is a single piece with random contents.
For collectors, it’s therefore important to distinguish between “single item delivery” and a complete set. If you want to complete a series, you should expect possible duplicate figures.
A blind box can be used as desk decoration, a retro decorative figure, or a collectible for enthusiasts. However, that doesn’t automatically make it suitable as a children’s toy. Small parts and small balls can pose a choking hazard. According to the product details, the JOTOYS Miana Retro Shop Blind Box is not suitable for children under three years old.
At around 14 cm tall, the figure is suitable for shelves, display cabinets, desks, or sideboards. Still, before you set it up, check you have enough space. On a small work surface, a 14 cm trendy figure can already be quite noticeable; in a display cabinet, you’ll also need to account for space for packaging or additional figures.
According to the product description, the JOTOYS Miana Retro Shop Blind Box is made from PVC. This material is commonly used for miniature PVC figures and allows for detailed shapes. For cleaning, a dry or slightly damp soft cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid strong heat, direct sunlight, and harsh cleaning agents, as these can damage the surface or colour.
The series consists of 8 regular variants and 1 chaser variant. The colours are listed as mixed. Before buying, collectors should keep three points in mind:
If you enjoy the element of surprise, you’ll get a decorative collectible figure with an extra unboxing moment. If you’re specifically looking for a particular figure, carefully check the product terms and possible variants before ordering.

The product details clearly state the random selection, single-item delivery, PVC material, and series breakdown.
Approximately 14 cm size, PVC material, no complicated assembly required, and versatile use as decoration.
Why this product fits the profile: This series is aimed at collectors looking for another blind box line with a distinctive design for a display cabinet or desk.
Again, the random figure should be seen as part of the concept, not a guarantee of a specific individual design.
Suitable for collectors who want to compare different series and combine decorative figures in a display cabinet.
Why this product fits the profile: For buyers who want a creative activity rather than a ready-made surprise figure, this set includes beads, pegboards, and ironing paper for making your own designs.
The contents clearly state the approximate number of beads, bead diameter, pegboards, and ironing paper.
Approximately 2,000 midi beads, two pegboards, and ironing paper; ironing must be done and supervised by an adult.
As a birthday present for collectors or a small token, a single blind box works best when the recipient genuinely enjoys the element of surprise. Its compact size makes it easy to use as desk decoration, in a display cabinet, or as a decorative figure on a shelf. The series may also appeal to fans of retro aesthetics and trendy figures.
Before giving it as a gift, please note the age restriction. The figure is not suitable for children under three years old. For older children and teenagers, also check the information on the packaging and product page, especially if small parts are included.
We’ve put together a full, regularly updated list of products that fully meet these strict selection criteria and the safety regulations in force in the EU.
