A pleasant laundry fragrance can freshen clothes and household textiles after washing or between two wash cycles. However, laundry perfume, detergent pods, fragrance concentrate and fabric refresher differ considerably in how they are used, how they are dosed and what they are intended for. If you buy based solely on the fragrance name or advertising claims, you may end up with a product that is unsuitable for your washing machine, tumble dryer or the textiles you use.

Laundry perfume or laundry fragrance concentrate primarily gives textiles a pleasant scent. It does not automatically replace detergent. If you want to clean dirty laundry, you need a suitable detergent, such as washing powder, liquid detergent or detergent pods.
