LED candles create a warm glow without a naked flame. This makes flameless LED candles suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining tables and decorative arrangements for celebrations. However, models differ considerably in terms of light colour, power supply, timer functions and suitability for outdoor use.
If you focus only on appearance or a large set size, you may overlook important details. Three common purchasing issues occur particularly often:
For a cosy atmosphere, warm white light is recommended. Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin: around 2,500 to 3,000 Kelvin creates a warm, yellowish impression. An integrated flicker effect regularly changes the brightness to imitate a moving flame.
Check whether the product description specifically refers to a flickering LED candle or merely a continuously illuminated LED. A model with IP44 may be suitable for sheltered areas and splashing water, but it is not automatically designed for heavy rain or permanent outdoor storage.
