The Prophete Entdecker 3.0 Trekking E-Bike 28” can confidently be called the all-rounder among the Prophete Trekking E-Bikes. With its configuration, it offers a high level of riding comfort while still being affordable for a model of its kind. It starts with a 36-volt mid-motor featuring a torque sensor that measures the power in each pedal stroke. The motor assistance is then adjusted proportionally, providing the help that is truly needed without wasting energy. With 250 watts and a maximum torque of 70 Nm, there is plenty of energy available on the road. Ranges of up to 110 km are possible depending on riding style and surface. The 10 Ah lithium-ion battery (360 Wh), which is fully integrated into the frame, reliably supplies energy to the motor.
In addition to the motor, all other electronic components are also powered by the battery. Thanks to the CAN bus protocol, these components communicate with each other in real time, allowing all current system information about the e-bike to be displayed on the LCD multifunction display. The lighting system includes a 90 LUX LED headlight from Prophete and a rear light with a brake light function, which illuminates when stationary, making the rider visible, just like the Continental Ride City reflex tires with puncture protection. The 28” tires fit perfectly in the trapezoidal frame with a frame height of 54 cm.
To round off the overall package, powerful hydraulic disc brakes have been installed on the Entdecker 3.0, allowing the e-bike to be quickly and safely brought to a stop. Additionally, a 9-speed derailleur system from Shimano ensures that the appropriate gear ratio is always available for the relevant part of the e-bike tour. Both are operated on the trekking handlebars with bolted ergo grips, which are attached to the angle-adjustable stem. To prevent the vibrations from the ground from being transmitted unprotected to the wrists and forearms, an adjustable Suntour NEX suspension fork is fitted to the front wheel.
