Production Description
The active HDMI to VGA converter allows you to connect newer devices such as notebooks, laptops, Macbooks, Chromebooks, or Raspberry Pi with an HDMI interface to projectors, displays, LCDs, TVs, and monitors with a VGA interface for big screen viewing. (A VGA male-to-male cable is required and sold separately.)
Equipped with a built-in chipset, this converter transforms HDMI digital signals into VGA analog signals. Please note, it is not bi-directional and only transfers signals from HDMI source devices to VGA displays or monitors.
This HDMI to VGA with audio converter supports video output in VGA up to 1920×1080@60Hz (Max). While VGA can only process video signals, this adapter additionally provides a 3.5mm line-out jack, allowing you to connect external speakers or your TV via a 3.5mm audio cable (sold separately).
A separate micro USB cable is included for optional power, optimizing compatibility with more devices, such as MacBook Mini (2014), Apple TV, Raspberry Pi, Smart Android TV Box, and other devices with low-power HDMI ports.
